Custom Builds Are No Problem!

There's no limit on what problems can be solved with software. Here's a breakdown of key areas that I specialise in.

Connecting Different Platforms: Or more technically, API development. This allow you to connect your software to other platforms. Most common examples include connecting payment processors (eg. Stripe, Eway or PayPal), Inventory Management Systems, and eCommerce Stores. Most established sites have some form of integrations that would support this system to system interface.

Custom Platform Development: Need something build from the ground up? Building something fresh, and allows you to tailor a solution exactly as you need it. Remove all the bloat of external systems, and focus on what counts.

Legacy System Rebuilds: Time and time again, I've had businesses contact me saying that they love the software they had, but it's no longer support, or going out of business. I can rebuild these systems (while building in some nice upgrades), so you can keep using them now and into the future.

Photo straight to an invoice

Taking a photo, and within seconds it's turned into an invoice

Creating invoices can be a time consuming (and boring) process. Which is why I was able to build a solution that allow you to:

  • Take a photo of a document containing client data
  • That photo then automatically gets imported into the platform's server
  • The information was extracted using the Google Vision API
  • The data was then formatted in a way to import into an invoice
  • Missing/incorrect details were identified and fixed (where possible)
  • Details were added into a drafted invoice

Automatic Purchase Script

Have you ever wanted to buy a product as soon as it becomes available, but haven't been able to? I built a software platform that:

  • Allows the user to select what they want to buy, and at what price
  • Collect specific details of the order (such as only if click and collect is available)
  • Periodically checks the website to see when the product becomes available
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian laws about automatic scanners and scripts
  • Once available, it will purchase the product on behalf of the business.

Employee Project & Quote Tracking System

When their existing software provider shut down, there was no one to support the key software that ran all the quotes and customer directory that ran across the business.

My team and I were able to:

  • Extract all data from the existing provider's system
  • Rebuild the front end of the system to work in a way that would allow any developer to continue development as required
  • Build in some upgrades that meant the platform could be accessed through a website, instead of having to install an application on each user's computer
  • Added new functionality to meet the new requirements of the business
  • Build a new server to host the software

Here to answer any/all questions. Here are a few top ones to get you started.

Your requirements and business needs are unique. So my approach will vary accordingly. Most commonly I will approach as follows:
Initial meeting: Let's make sure I'm the right fit for your needs. I'll also use this time to make sure that I'm able to deliver on what you're looking for (no empty promises).
Design: I'll put together a proposed solution to meet the needs of what you're looking for. This allows you to feel confident as we approach the situation together and put you back in the driver's seat.  Remember, it's your business, so let's make sure it's the right direction for what you.
Implementation: Building out the solution. This comes in many forms including training, software development, mediation (between multiple parties) and more.
Support:  Short, medium or long term support as required.

If your website has stops working, or is having errors there can be a range of solutions. As an starting checklist:

Don't wait: Timeliness is key. The longer you wait the harder it is to recovery a lost website and/or domain.
Review Recent Changes: Think about any recent updates or changes made to the website. Reverting those changes might resolve the issue.
Call your hosting provider: It might be a simple fix that they can resolve over the phone.
Check for known outages: If your website is inaccessible, it might be because your website hosting is down. Check with your hosting provider.
Clear Cache: Clear your browser cache and try accessing the website again. If unsure, another way to test this is to use a private/incognito window.
Contact Anthony: If you get stuck, reach out and I'll be happy to help. I work full time, so support is exclusively after hours, which might be the type of help you need.

 

Most likely, yes. At this point in my career I've supported almost any API setup that you might need. Some common ones I work with include:

Pricing can vary. Hourly rate services can range from $100-400 per hour (depending on location, time and urgency).

Most services however are fixed cost and quoted prior to the service commencement.

I'm work full time as a development lead in Gold Coast, QLD. As I work full time, my support is limited to after hours only.

Under some circumstances I'm able to work around these requirements but assume that this isn't the case.
